Benny Neal Carlisle, age 66 of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, TN passed away Tuesday morning, March 24, 2026 at his residence. Benny is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

The family has chosen cremation & a memorial service will be held at a later date.

He is preceded in death by: father, Alvin Ray “Buddy” Carlisle; brother-in-law, Ricky Baskett; maternal grandparents, Poza & Melvina Pedigo; paternal grandparents, Paul & Buel Carlisle.

Survivors include: mother, Lucille Pedigo Carlisle of the Hermitage Springs Community; sisters, Terri Mai Baskett & companion, Todd Wheeler of Gamaliel, KY, Vickie Hume & husband, Ricky of Red Boiling Springs; brother, Tommy Dean Carlisle of Akersville, KY; nephews, Codey & Dustin Baskett; nieces, Lindsay & Tracy Hume; great-nephews, Emmitt & Reed Baskett.
