Carlene Cassetty Fleming, age 84, of Red Boiling Springs, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 4th at Macon County General Hospital. Funeral services for Carlene Fleming will be held on Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
She is survived by: daughters and son-in-law, Sherry Kay and Roger Hudson, Pam Russell; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Fonda Fleming, all of Red Boiling Springs; sister, Brenda Coons of White House; brother, J.T. Cassetty of Mt. Juliet; 8 grandchildren, Jason Trent, Renee Greer, Nathan Fleming, Lori Coley, Maranda Fleming, Philip Fleming, Brandi Boles and Marcus Hudson; 11 great-grandchildren.
Family requests memorial donations be made to the Jenkins Cemetery or Smith Chapel Cemetery. You may make these donations by calling or coming by the funeral home.
I met her a few times when my sisters and myself got old enough to drive to Red Boiling Springs, Tnn to visit grandmother Lavelle

I am so sorry I can not be there with you all in this time of need. Ms. Fleming was a very fine lady. I love taking care of her at the hospital. She will be miss very much. I am thinking about you all. God please wrap your arm around this family and help them thru this. God bless you all. Rest In Peace Ms. Fleming
