Carlos Dean Newberry, age 84 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Sunday afternoon, January 11, 2026 at his residence. Carlos is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Carlos Dean Newberry will be conducted Thursday morning, January 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jack Honeycutt & Gary Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.

Family requests memorials be made to the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ or Clementsville Church of Christ. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by: parents, Vesper & Edith (Evans) Newberry; brother, Bruce Newberry; one infant sister.

Survivors include: wife, Sarah Vinson Newberry; daughter, Sheila Cook both of Red Boiling Springs; son, Micah Newberry & wife, Amy of Lafayette; brothers, Wayne Newberry & wife, Sandra of Red Boiling Springs, Bobby Newberry & wife, Janet of Hendersonville, & Terry Newberry; half-sister, Beverly Whitley Stewart both of Red Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Megan Coley & husband, Matt, Morgan Browne & husband, Austin, Tristan Newberry & Logan Newberry; great-grandchildren, Paityn Butcher, Oliver Coley, Ellisyn Coley, & Palmer Browne.
