Clarence “Peachie” Long, age 82 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Friday morning, September 25, 2026 at his residence. Peachie is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Clarence “Peachie” Long will be conducted Sunday afternoon, September 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Heath Hensley & Larry Comer officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.

He is preceded in death by: wife, Kathleen Hollis Dozier Long; parents, Rex & Eva (Cross) Long; nephew, Jeffrey Rex Pruitt; brother-in-law, Jerry Davis.

Survivors include: son, Brian Long & wife, Kim; grandsons, Chase Long & companion, Kameron, Zachary Long & companion, Brenda; step-daughters, Debbie Starner & husband, Kevin all of Red Boiling Springs, Tracy Dozier & companion, Jonathan Frye of Lafayette; step-sons, Danny Dozier & wife, Tammie, Jackie Dozier all of Red Boiling Springs; 16 step-grandchildren & 26 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Ford & husband, Jerry of Gamaliel, Shelia Davis of Lafayette, Darla Morey & husband, Victor of Gallatin, Cindy Pruitt & husband, James of Gainesboro; companion, Ruth Copass of the Pine Hill Community.
