David Odean Overton

David Odean Overton, age 86 of Lafayette, TN passed away Tuesday evening, February 25, 2025, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN. David is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

A celebration of life for David Odean Overton will be conducted Saturday afternoon, March 1, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with the family officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin on Saturday from 2:00 pm until service time at 3:00 p.m.

He is preceded in death by: wife, Patsy Lee Jones Overton, parents, James Herley & Myra Maybell Minick Overton, 5 brothers, Johnnie Lewis, Halqua, Darrell, C.T. & Talmadge Overton, 2 sisters, Juanita Overton Beasley & Viola Overton Estes. 

Survivors include: Daughter, Dana (Del) Lynch, Granddaughters, Delaney Lynch and Darcy Lynch all of Crofton, Maryland, Sister, Dottie (Billy Joe) Hawkins, Sisters-in-law, Sandra Overton, Lucky (Frank) Collins all of Lafayette.
