Dean Wright Walden, age 93 of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, TN passed away Saturday evening, August 22, 2026 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, KY. Dean is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Dean Wright Walden will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, August 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Gary Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

She is preceded in death by: husband, Jessie Kay Walden; son, Gary Grace; parents, Paul & Vesta (Jenkins) Wright; brother, Garth Wright; granddaughter, Amanda Hale. 

Survivors include: daughters, Sharon Moss & companion, Mark Hauskins of the Hermitage Springs Community, Barbara Hale York of Smithville; grandchildren, Nathan Grace & wife, Kim of Lafayette, Quentin Moss & wife, Melita of the Hermitage Springs Community, Clayton Hale, Sabrina Dulworth & husband, David all of Moss, Robert Grace of Gainesboro, & Joby Grace of Tompkinsville; great-grandchildren, Kyle Grace & wife, Karlee, Dallas Grace & wife, Katie, Logan Grace & wife, Jordyn, Brayden Moss & wife, Riley, Courtney Clayburn, Tice Dulworth & wife, Briley, Zander & Hobie Hale, Braxton, Jessie, & Shana Grace; great-great-grandchildren, Daelyn & Daxtyn Grace, Brantley & Beckett Grace, Kolt Grace, & Rowan Garnett & several nephews and 1 niece.
