Donald Ray Smith

Donald Smith, age 78 of the Drapers Crossroads Community in Macon County, TN passed away Sunday morning, December 29, 2019 at the Macon Community Hospital ER in Lafayette, TN.  Donald is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.   

Funeral Services for Donald Smith will be conducted Friday afternoon, January 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jerry Ramsey officiating.  Interment will follow in the Donald Smith Family Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin Thursday at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. & Friday 10 a.m. until his service at 1 p.m.  Family request memorials be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.  You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home. 

Survivors include: wife, Edna Sue Hix Smith; son & daughter-in-law, Danny & Nancy Smith all of the Drapers Crossroads Community; daughter, Dana Sue Smith of Las Vegas, NV; grandson, Nathan Smith of Montpelier, OH; granddaughter, Megan Smith of Hendersonville, TN; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Susie Wray of Bloomington, IN; brother, Kenny Smith of Shelbyville, IN.  Arrangements by the ANDERSON & SON FUNERAL HOME DIRECTORS, Red Boiling Springs, TN. 615-699-2191 www.andersonandsonfuneralhomes.com

So sorry for your loss. Oh so many memories when we were kids growing up. What fun we had. Racing with Daddy after bailing hay to get to the river to swim. Time we rode in back of stock truck to the Cincinnati zoo.
