Donnie Lee Gammons, Sr., age 81 of the Webbtown Community in Macon County, TN, passed away Sunday morning, September 6, 2026 at his residence. Donnie is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Donnie Lee Gammons, Sr. will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, September 9, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Jack Honeycutt & Elliot Hamm officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin Tuesday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday from 9:00 am to service time at 2:00 pm.

Family request memorials be made to the India Mission Fund. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by: wife, Judy Atkins Gammons; parents, Willard & Hessie (Sewell) Gammons; grandchildren, Luke Jones & Willow Green; great-grandchild, Henderson Jones; several siblings.

Survivors include: daughters, Donna L. Blankenship & husband, Jackie of Lafayette, Frankie Jones & husband, Terry of Red Boiling Springs, Misty Green & husband, David of the Webbtown Community; foster daughter, Nancy Thacker of Bowling Green; son, Sonny Gammons and wife, Joie of Lafayette; 15 grandchildren & 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Morris & husband, Steve; sister-in-law, Shirley Atkins all of Lafayette; brother-in-law, Bruce Atkins & wife, Kathy of Gallatin.
