Doris Lavene Garland Bohanan, age 85 of Lafayette, TN, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 22, 2026 at Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette. Doris is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

She is preceded in death by: Daughter, Sheryl Bohanan Jones, Parents, Robert K. Garland, Jr. & Eara Mamie (Dickey) Garland.

Survivors include: Husband, Herman J. Bohanan of Lafayette, Son Herman J. Bohanan, Jr. of Westmoreland, Daughters, Amanda Smith & husband, Terry Woodard of Rock Island, Casandra Corbett of Bethpage, Several Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, & Great-great-grandchildren.
