We were blessed to be a part of Opryland USA in Nashville for twenty-four years in their live shows.   Doyle and Lucy and their family always bought season passes and came many times to our show.  They soon became part of our precious Opryland family.  We loved the many wonderful jokes Doyle shared, some of them Russ used on our show! Doyle loved his family and I am so glad we got to watch the boys grow up and visit with his precious Lucy.  Russ and I send our prayers to you all.  You are and always will be part of our Opryland family.  We dearly love you. Thank you all for giving us sweet memories.  Russ and Becky

So sorry for your loss. Doyle brought many smiles to many faces, including mine, many times. Doyle was a character and I believe my Daddy met his match when he started working with Doyle. Couldn't ask for a better person. You will be missed, Doyle Smith. Until we meet again.

I didn't know Mr. Smith very well other than a few times I saw him while visiting my Mom's twin sister, June Smith.  On various occasions my Mom would bring back some of Mr. Smith's Irises for our garden and we have enjoyed them immensely and they are still blooming nicely.  We truly appreciated Mr. Smith sharing his "garden" with us.  Our sincere sympathy to the Smith family.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Doyle.  He was always so friendly and smiling.  He loved R.B.S. and the people of R.B.S. loved him.  We will sure miss his smiling face.  He was a loyal "BULLDOG FAN" too and a proud supporter of the school.  He will be missed.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
