Gene Hickman

Gene Hickman, age 77 of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, TN passed away Monday evening, June 1, 2015 at his residence.  Gene is at Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral services for Gene Hickman will be conducted Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Jimmy Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hermitage Springs Cemetery.    

Visitation with the family will begin Wednesday 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Survivors include: wife, Dottie Browning Hickman; son and daughter-in-law, Coell & Beverly Hickman; granddaughter, Nikki Hickman; grandsons and their wives, Curtis & Ashley Hickman and Lucas & Kara Hickman all of the Hermitage Springs Community; great-grandchildren, Kloe Hickman, Cole Hickman and Kaylee White; step-son, Michael Camara and his wife, Denita, Tipton, IN; step-granddaughters, Devann & Courtney Camara, Tipton, IN, Britney Croft, Lima, OH; step-great-granddaughter, Sophie Croft, Lima, OH; sisters, Joan Smith, Hermitage Springs Community, Donna Schleicher, Red Boiling Springs. Coell and family , we are so sorry for the passing of Pop's. we really thought the world of him! he will greatly missed! He was a GREAT MAN! If you need us for anything you know our number! Him and Mom are together laughing and not in pain anymore. Dewayne said he was so glad he came and seen him the other day!

Dot so sorry for the loss of your husband and best friend. Didn't get to know Gene for very long,but liked him from the start.Wishing you peace,know that you did your best to care for him. Sorry I won't be there for the funeral but will have you in my thoughts and prayers.Love You.
