George Albert Curtis, age 70 of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, TN passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 12, 2017 at his residence. George is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
The family has chosen cremation and no services are planned.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Mattie Brooks Curtis, sister, Louise Davis and brother, Jeff Curtis.
Survivors include: wife, Shirlene Likens Curtis of the Hermitage Springs Community; step-sons & their wives, Chris & Rachel Cherry, Randy & Mary Beth Cherry all of Red Boiling Springs; daughter, Tammy Curtis of Lafayette; grandchildren, Hayden, Reagan, Waylon and Sarah; sisters, Ottie Dyer of Burlington, IN, Betty Dyer & Teresa Wilson both of KoKomo, IN, Nelda Revelle & Becky McConnell both of Bowling Green, KY, Barbara Hilligoss of Akersville, KY. I am so sorry to hear about George. He never failed to speak when he saw me. He always had a smile and positive attitude. I will certainly miss his wave hello to me every day as I go to work. My deepest sympathy to Shirlene and all the family.
