George Douglas Tucker, age 95 of Lafayette, TN, passed away Tuesday evening, June 16, 2026 at Macon Community Hospital. George is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for George Douglas Tucker will be conducted Saturday morning, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 am from First Baptist Church of Lafayette with Pastor Ron Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin Friday at Anderson & Son Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Lafayette from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, George Dewey & Roxie Bandy Tucker, Son, Mark Edwin Tucker, Sister, Paula Ann Bandy Burrow.
