I feel fortunate to have known and been kin to cousin Gustine. She was barely younger than my daddy so they grew up together and were big buddies. She was a sweet lady who always seemed to be quick to make me smile or laugh. I have great memories of our visits with her and Kenneth and aunt Loe and uncle Jimmy there on the Canada farm where I learned a little bit about what a true "working farm" was all about.

I have fond memories of visiting Kenneth and Gustine, Loe and Jimmy, at the farm with my parents (Bob and Mattie Lee Massey) and my grandparents (Dewey and Erlene Donoho). I remember playing in the creek, chasing chickens, and visiting the barn. For a city girl it was all quite fun and novel. The boys were a good deal older than me (it seemed) at that time, but I clearly remember visiting. Gustine would always feed us and would bustle around being so welcoming. Life is fragile, we should never take it for granted, but how wonderful knowing that joy comes in the morning for those of us that know our Lord and Savior. Love and prayers to all the family.
