Glen Mury Sampson, age 76 of the Union Hill Community in Clay County, TN, & a longtime resident of Akersville, KY. passed away Friday morning, May 15, 2026 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Glen is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Glen Mury Sampson will be conducted Monday morning, May 18, 2026 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Jeremy Yokley officiating. Interment will follow in the Akersville Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Sunday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Monday from 8:00 am until service time at 11:00 am.

He is preceded in death by: Wife, Wanda Faye (Dotson) Sampson; Son, William Sampson; Parents, William Mury & Dorothy Lousie (Cothron) Sampson; Janie Sampson.

Survivors include: Son, Cliff Sampson & wife Veronica; Grandchildren, Jence Sampson & Jodi Sampson all of the Union Hill Community in Clay County; Sister, Karen Russell & husband Roger; Brother, David Sampson all of Lafayette.
