Hugh Wayne Smith, Sr., age 75 of Lafayette, TN and formerly of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Monday afternoon, July 15, 2024 at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN. Hugh Wayne is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Hugh Wayne Smith, Sr. will be conducted Thursday Morning, July 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother Jackie Rich and Pastor Bryan Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Pony McDonald Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.

He is survived by: Wife, Alma Smith; Son, Hugh Smith & Fiancé Miranda Brawner all of Lafayette, TN; Brothers, Fred Smith of Red Boiling Springs, Douglas & wife Brenda Smith of Hermitage Springs, TN; Several Nieces & Nephews
