James Edgar Parkes, age 88 of the Winklers Community in Macon County, TN passed away Tuesday morning, May 12, 2020 at the Stonecrest Assisted Living in Lafayette, TN. James Edgar is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Private Family Services for James Edgar Parkes will be conducted Monday, May 18, 2020 from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Elder Daniel Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery with military honors by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
Family request memorials be made to the Bethany Cemetery. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
Survivors include: wife, Bettie Sue Dotson Parkes of the Winklers Community; daughter, Melanie Janie Hendricks; granddaughter, Amanda Hendricks; great-granddaughter, Caitlin Dillon & her husband, Gaige; great-great-grandson, Carter James Dillon all of Cookeville; sister, Virginia Gregory of Lafayette.
