James Richard Thomas
May 6, 1932 — November 30, 2014
James Richard Thomas, age 82, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, November 30th at Gallatin Health Care. Funeral services for James Thomas will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd at 11:00 AM from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Brother Cordell Akin officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Visitation with the family will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.
He is survived by: Son and Daughter-in-law, Richard and Anita Thomas; Daughter and Son-in-law, Teresa and Bob Green; Son, Michael Dale Thomas; Grandchildren, Leah (Chad) Swindle, Chet Green, Erin (Chuck) Wilmore, Whitney Thomas, Heather Wright; 5 great-grandchildren.
Family suggests memorial donations be made to the Friends of Winding Stairs Future Park. You may make these donations by calling or coming by the funeral home.
