Janet Southard, age 75 of Muncie, Indiana passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne Indiana. Janet is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Graveside Services & Interment for Janet Southard will be conducted Sunday afternoon, October 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akersville Cemetery in Akersville, KY with Mike Scott officiating.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

She is survived by, Mother Joyce Bennett of Muncie Indiana, 4 children, Kevin (Kim) Tackett of Hensley AR, Brian (Nikki) Tackett, Trina (Rudy) Holguin, Tracy (John) Oates all of Fort Wayne, IN. 2 Step Sisters, Linda Brown of Franklin, IN & Debbi Dial of Las Cruces, NM, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Southard, her father Henry Russell, step father Leonard Bennett, and her brother Bruce Bennett.
