J.D. Smith

J.D. Smith, age 77 of the Union Camp Community in Macon County, TN passed away early Saturday morning, November 7, 2020 at his residence.  J.D. is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for J.D. Smith will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Brother Britt Little & Brother Mike Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation with the family will begin Monday 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m. until his service time at 2 p.m.

The family respectfully asks that anyone attending the visitation or funeral service to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

He is survived by: Wife, Fay Smith; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Heather & James Day; Son and Daughter-In-Law, Chris & Tammy Gregory; Granddaughters, Morgan Day, Mackinzie Day & Emily Gregory; Step-Grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Joey Dyer, Mandy and husband, Logan Shrum, Matt Davenport; Step-Great-Grandchildren, Ellie & Emmet Dyer; Sister, Shirley Brawner; Sisters-In-Law, Patsy and husband, Jackie Douglas, Naomi and husband, J.C. Cole; niece, Karen and husband, Fuzz Sullivan; Great-Niece, Amber and husband, Michael Ashworth; Several cousins & friends.
