Jerry Qualls was such a kind person to me and to my family, especially to my dad. For that I will always be grateful to him and to Patsy. We enjoyed talking with him at the Long Hollow Jamboree. He was always willing to help, always offered a smile and an encouraging word, would go out of his way to do something for others. He was also so sweet to my little boy and would share gifts. I also loved his hugs. The world was a better place with Jerry in it and we all could l with him. We could all learn from his example of how to be a friend to others. I am thankful that God put him in my path for a time. He will be missed.
