Joye Williams Spivey

Joye Williams Spivey, age 77 of the Hillsdale Community in Macon County, TN passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 10, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Davidson County.  Joye Spivey is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

 

Funeral Services for Joye Spivey will be conducted on Friday afternoon, November 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Mike Carver & Myra Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

 

Visitation with the family will begin Thursday 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. until his service time at 1 p.m.

 

The family respectfully asks that anyone attending the visitation or the funeral service to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

 

The family requests memorials be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the Funeral Home.

 

She is survived by: Husband, Jimmy Spivey of the Hillsdale Community; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Sandra & Larry DeLoach of Mt. Juliet; Grandson, Derrick & Ashley DeLoach of Murfreesboro; Granddaughters, Ashley DeLoach of Mt. Juliet; Great-Granddaughters, Presley Deloach, London Elliott, and Brooklyn Elliott, Sisters; Myra Thompson of Nashville, and Jennifer & Jackie Halliburton of Lafayette; Brother, David & Brenda Williams of the Leonard Community.

I am so very sorry. Joye was always sweet and kind to me. I have some sweet memories of her and Jimmy. May those Precious Memories put a smile on your faces and laughter in your hearts. May God give each of you peace and comfort. I know w=she will be missed.
