Kenneth Gerald Swan

Kenneth Gerald Swan, age 80, of Lafayette passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at his residence in Lafayette, TN, at the age of 80. Funeral services for Kenneth Gerald Swan were conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette with Rob Whitacre and Joe Lynn officiating.  Honorary Pallbearers were Jackie Halliburton, Ancil Burford, Randal Cliburn and Larry Lawson.  Matthew Henderson, Dean Rush, William Smith, Roger Carver, Eric Kittrell, David Carver, Gary Wilder and Bryan Carter served as Pallbearers.  Interment was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park with Military Honors. 

Kenneth Gerald Swan was born on January 22, 1936 to the late Vollie Thomas and Annie B. (Hix) Swan.  He was married to the former Ruby Tinsley on December 16, 1984, who survives and lives in Lafayette.  He served his country in the United States Army.  After his military service, he worked most all his life in Construction and enjoyed farming.  He was a member of the Willette Church of Christ.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by, step-children and their spouses, Richard and Smatha Henderson of Bowling Green, KY, Brenda and Bill Weaver of Pompano, FL, Jerry Dale and Dana Henderson of the Rocky Mound Community of Macon County, 6 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Doyne and Steve Norfleet of Mt. Dora, FL, brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Billie Swan of Wichita, KS, and Doyle and Nancy Swan of the Rocky Mound Community.  The family request memorials to the Willette Church of Christ India Fund.
