Laura Gail Wakefield Lankford, age 72 of Lafayette, TN passed away Saturday afternoon, August 10, 2024 at her residence. Laura is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Laura Gail Wakefield Lankford will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, August 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jackie Rich officiating. Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

She is preceded in death by: father, J.T. Wakefield; mother, Nell Stafford Knight; step-father, Bobby Knight; sister, Betty Conrad; brothers, Shane Knight & Bob Knight.

She is survived by: sons and daughters-in-law, Jason & Davida Lankford, J.T. & Bethany Lankford; sisters, Debbie Raines all of Lafayette, Sharon Carter of Red Boiling Springs, Marilyn Knight of Lafayette, Sonya Knight of Red Boiling Springs; 6 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.
