Leon was a fine man! New Harmony Church will not be the same without him. When our Mother died, we had no idea about her church membership, but Leon walked in to the funeral home. We ask if he had any recollection and once he got home, in no time he calls with her church affiliation. To the family please know how wonderful it was to have your father all those years;

If everyone was like Mr. Leon, the world would be a better place. He was a Christian man who lived like a Christian should. He always had a smile and something nice to say to everyone. He will be missed by his family, church, friends and acquaintances.

I am so sorry to hear of Leons passing. I grew up hearing wonderful stories about Leon, told to me of their early years in New Harmony school and the community. I always loved seeing Leon and talking to him when I had the opportunity. He was a wonderful man! My condolences to each family member.
