I was so sorry to hear about Marell's passing away. Thomas Campbell says, "To live in the hearts of those you leave behind is to not die." I have fond memories as a kid visiting Joe and Marell's with my dad and mom. And seeing her at Gertie's when she'd come to visit her. Everytime I would see her she was always smiling and happy to see me. I remember one time her and Joe played a trick on me as a kid, during a snow storm Joe asked me if I wanted to go golfing and told me to paint my golf balls with shoe polish. Of course I did and everyone got a big kick out of that for many years. She had a wonderful life and was a great role model for everyone she met. She will always live in my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to Joey, Mike, Gertie and all the family.

We are out of town, I will not be able to come by the funeral home. I will have yall in my thoughts and prayers. I loved her, she was a beautiful lady with a wonderful personality. I always enjoyed her visits to the bank and anywhere I ever saw her. God has truly called one of the best home.
