Margaret Melvadale Lowhorn Reid, age 77 of Lafayette, TN, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 14, 2025 at The Palace. Margaret is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Margaret Melvadale Lowhorn Reid will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, December 17, 2025, at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Bobby Bransford officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, J.C. Reid, Parents, Johnnie Howard & Dessie Mae Thrasher Lowhorn, Sisters, Louise Pedigo, Sandra Lynn, Rita Johns, Evelyn Gaye Lowhorn, Brother, Jamie Lowhorn.

Survivors include: Son, Tyler Reid and wife, Ronda of Lafayette, Sisters, Linda Copas of Hermitage Springs, Shirley Sewell and husband, David, Brothers, Johnny Lowhorn, Ricky Lowhorn all of Lafayette, and a host of nieces and nephews.
