Michael Ray Draper

Michael Ray Draper, age 70, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 21, 2020 at his residence.  Funeral Services for Mr. Michael Draper will be conducted on Sunday, May 24th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Dean Sircy officiating.  Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park with Military Honors.

Visitation with the Family will begin on Saturday afternoon, May 23rd from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and on Sunday there will be no visitation prior to the service at 2 p.m.

During the Saturday visitation, the family has requested only 10 people allowed in at a time to visit with the family, and please wear a mask due to his mother, Ms. Mazell’s health condition.

Please honor the family’s request that due to COVID-19/Coronavirus and based on CDC Guidelines that you refrain from contact such as hugging and any handshakes while visiting with the family.  During this time the CDC does not allow the funeral home to accept any food on the family’s behalf.  Thank you for helping us to keep everyone safe during by honoring these requests and guidelines.
