I will always remember how Morissa could do anything she set her mind to do, and do it well! She was a dear person of quality and excellence - even as a young girl in school. I'll always remember her love for gospel music and how she knew the words and could play any song you requested. If you knew her, you knew that she had Jesus in her heart, and that's why we're comforted to know that we'll see her again. David and family, prayers for comfort in this journey. It's so difficult to lose such a fine lady.

Morrisa was a jewel for sure. She was a quiet person but she always had a presence wherever she was. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh were just 2 of her many attributes. My prayers will continue for all of you.

I'm so very sorry. Loved Morrisa. Enjoyed sharing the piano with her at Faith MBC. Prayers for the family. She will be missed.

Morrisa was always so quiet, but always there, a calming, supporting influence as we all grew up. We were classmates, Sunday School buddies, and part of a large circle of friends. We made a lot of good memories and had a bunch of fun. She was a rock and I know she will be missed so much. You will grieve, but she rests in glory. Gods comfort is yours, lean on him! You will see her again. We have that assurance. Class of 74

David, Morrisas death is felt by all of us who knew her from our youth. Her infectious laugh, beauty, kindness and competitive spirit on the basketball court I fondly remember. We are all grieving with you. Please know that many prayers have been, and will continue to be, said to our Father on behalf of you and your family. She has gained her reward, may you all find peace knowing that shes resting in our saviors arms.

David, my heart goes out to you, your children and grandchildren; I empathize with the family for time you will miss with the wife, mother, and grandmother who was a blessing to all; Marrissa was ferocious on the basketball court, but a kind, fun friend to her fellow classmates. Prayers to all your family; by the grace of God will you find the strength and courage to continue your lives filled with the knowledge that Marrissa is safe in His hands. ...CLASS OF 74
