Penny Kay Strong Burgess, age 67 of the Jimtown Community in Macon County, TN passed away Monday morning, May 26, 2025 at Smith County Health & Rehabilitation in Carthage, TN. Penny is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
The family has chosen cremation & a memorial service will be held at a later date.
She is preceded in death by: daughter, Rhonda Gregory; parents, Hershel Strong & Buty Faye Pryor Brady; brother, Danny Strong.
Survivors include: daughters, Teresa Dawes & companion Martin of the Jimtown Community, Susan Hardcastle of Hartsville; sons, Michael Gregroy of the Jimtown Community, Nathan Watson; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Pryor of Red Boiling Springs, Sheila Strong & husband, Jackie; brothers, Harold Strong all of Lafayette, Terry Strong & wife, Lori of Red Boiling Springs, Vernon Strong of Lafayette.
