Mildred, Pleas Jr., Diana and Vida Gale. I was so sorry to her of your loss. I have been thinking of you all so much in the last year. I remember how great a friend he was to my dad, Bethel. You all are in my prayers. Bless you all.

Mildred, Pleas Jr, Diana and Veda,
My heartfelt condolences go out to you all and your families. I have many years of great memories being raised down the road from Pleas, Mildred and you. To us kids, he always seemed larger than life--had a definite 'Swagger' for sure.
Mt. Vernon has now lost one of the last of the 'Greats', and that corner down there will never be the same.
Thinking of you all today..just wish I could be there.
