Randall Clark Goodman

Randall Clark Goodman of the Webbtown Community of Macon County, TN , died Monday morning, January 4, 2016 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN at the age of 78.  Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of The Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Jerry Mercer officiating.  Eldon Clark served as Honorary Pallbearer and David Sewell, Spencer Shrum, Gary Tuck, Russell Brown, Kyle Sircy, Randy Kirby and Jerome Donoho served as Active Pallbearers.  Burial was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park with Military Honors.

Born on Saturday, November 20, 1937, a native of Macon County, he was one of three siblings born to the late Pate Clark and Ruby Idell (Bray) Goodman.  He was married on November, 26, 1968 to the former Poca JoAnn Donoho.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Linda Goodman and Wilma McBroom.  Randall worked at TRW in Lebanon, where he retired with 30 years of service.  After retirement he was a self employed Merchant, owning and operating The Express Lane and had an Herb Store.  He served as President of the Macon County Republican Party for four years.  Randall served his Country in the United States Army with an Honorable Discharge on August 31, 1967 and was a member of the Lafayette Church of Christ.   

In addition to his wife of 47 years, Randall was survived by, daughter, Renee’ (Royce) Belcher of Hartsville, TN, sons, Lanny (Carla) Jenkins, Murfreesboro, TN, Timothy (Mary) Jenkins, Elizabethton, KY, grandchildren, Terra (Corey) Phelps, Ashley (Chris) Teter, all of Murfreesboro, TN, Landon Jenkins, Kipp West & Kesha Davis, Lafayette, TN, Heather Jenkins, KY, Kannon West, Lafayette, TN, Connor Belcher, Claire Belcher, great-grandchildren, Colton Thomas Kennamer, Carley Jo Teter, Abbilyn Teter, Aubrey Renee’ Phelps, Callie Mae Phelps, and brother-in-law, Dr. Bonnell McBroom.
