My heart is saddened to hear about the passing of my teacher, friend, and neighbor, Mr. Ray Clements. I am many fond memories of him at H.S. He was a great math teacher and I remember him helping me get through geometry--he even stopped by to help me during the Christmas Holidays. He always tried to stop by and chat when I came to visit mom and dad. He was loved my many and will be missed. The legacy he leaves behind is one that his family, as well as his many, many friends in Clay, Macon, and Monroe Counties, should be proud of. My prayer is that his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him to be a friend to all and serve our great God to the best of our abilities.
