Richie Dewayne Bergdorf, age 60 of Lafayette, TN passed away Wednesday evening, April 1, 2026 his residence. Richie is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Richie Dewayne Bergdorf was an avid UT Fan.

Funeral Services for Richie Dewayne Bergdorf will be conducted Saturday afternoon, April 4, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Reverend Pete Freeman and Shane Lenning officiating. Interment will follow in the Lafayette City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Friday, April 3, 2026 from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 10:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, H.L. & Lucy May (Reid) Bergdorf, Brother-in-law, Don Gregory.

Survivors include: Daughter, Kayla Deeann Bergdorf, Sisters, Janice Gregory, Rita Jones & husband, Jeremy Sauseda all of Lafayette, Brothers, Charlie Bergdorf & wife, Laura, Chris Bergdorf & wife, Patty all of Hartsville, Aunt, Della Mae Gunter, Uncle, H.N. “Pete” Reid both of Lafayette, 3 Grandchildren, Blakelyn Wright, McKenzie Martin & Mia Martin, several nieces and nephews.
