Roy Evans, age 77 of the Pumpkintown Community in Macon County, TN passed away Tuesday morning, September 08, 2026 at his residence. Roy is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Roy Evans will be conducted Friday morning, September 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Elder Tom Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.

He is preceded in death by: parents, Grover & Bertha (McCarter) Evans; 3 brothers & 2 sisters; stepson, Danny Ray Hood.

Survivors include: wife, Tina Evans of the Pumkintown Community; children, Roy Evans Jr. & wife, Pam of Red Boiling Springs, Bryan Evans & wife, Tammy, Kristi Carter all of Lafayette; step-daughter, Candy Geralds of the Pumpkintown Community; grandchildren, Kolt Evans, Tyler Evans, Brylee Evans, Ashlyn Martin & Brooklyn Carter; 7 step-grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter, Kyndal Martin; 10 step-great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn Evans of Red Boiling Springs.
