Roy G. Towns, age 93 of Lafayette, TN passed away Thursday evening, July 17, 2025 at his residence in Lafayette, TN. Roy is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Roy G. Towns will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, July 22, 2025, at 1:00 pm from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Daniel Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park with full Military Honors.

Visitation will begin on Monday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 8:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.

Family requests memorials be made to the Dixon’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Rudolph & Myrtle Parker Towns, and Sisters, Helen Morgan & Jean Caruthers.

Survivors include: Wife, Barbara Eller Towns, Sons, Royce Towns & wife, Dawn, Patrick Towns all of Lafayette, Grandchildren, Madisen Nunley & husband, Hunter of Woodbury, TN, Grant Towns & wife, McKenzie of Dixon Springs, TN, Sister, Earlene Angel, Brothers, Billy Towns & wife, Barbara, of Dixon Springs & Bobby Towns & wife, Lynette, of Nashville.
