Shirley Sexton Russell, age 80 of Lebanon, TN passed away early Monday morning, January 20, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. Shirley is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Shirley Sexton Russell will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, January 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Donnie Rhoden officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

She is preceded in death by: parents, Lucion & Mary (Stephens) Sexton; 11 siblings; sister-in-law, Brenda Sheppard.

Survivors include: husband, Comer Russell; daughters, Lydia Snider both of Lebanon, Christie Sprinkles & husband, Kevin of Hartsville; son, Trent Russell and wife, Christy of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Lucas Dillon & wife, Celia of Lebanon, Austin Dillon and wife, Ansley of Murfreesboro, Chrissa Howard of Hartsville; 8 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Tony Russell & wife, Lisa of Red Boiling Springs; sister-in-law, Nina Jenkins of Nashville; a host of nieces and nephews.
