Truman Eugene McCarter

Truman Eugene McCarter, age 78 of the Pumpkintown Community in Macon County, TN passed away Monday evening,  April 18, 2016 at his residence.  Truman is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral Services for Truman Eugene McCarter will be conducted Thursday afternoon, April 21, 2016, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jimmy Cook officiating.    Interment will follow in the Galen Cemetery. 

Visitation with the family will begin Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. 

Survivors include: wife, Bonnie Cherry McCarter of the Pumpkintown Community; daughters & sons-in-law, Pamela McCarter of the Pumpkintown Community, Lisa  & Johnny Russell of Hartsville, Vicki & Lee Brown of Lafayette; son & daughter-in-law, Matt & Tracey McCarter of Pumpkintown Community; sister, Ruth Copass of Pine Hill Community; brothers & sisters-in-law, Willie McCarter of Red Boiling Springs, Herman & Wanda McCarter of Hermitage Springs Community, Johnny & Barbara McCarter of Hope, IN; 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

I remember Mr and Mrs McCarter when I worked at Citizens Bank in Lafayette, such good people. They are people that always hold a special place in your life. Our sincere sympathy at this time. May God give you comfort in His love. Rebecca
