Vera Russell

Vera Evetts Russell, age 94, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, June 3^rd at Knollwood Manor.  Funeral services for Vera Russell will be conducted on Saturday, June 7^th at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson and Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder J.B. Shoulders officiating.  Interment will follow in Macon County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will begin on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

She is survived by: Husband of 74 years, Cortez Russell of Lafayette; Son and Daughter-in-law, Carroll and Emily Russell of the Cato Community; Special niece and husband, Anita and Jimmy Hoskins of Lafayette; Grandchildren, Lundy Russell of Lafayette, William "Bill" and Kim Russell, Jr. of Nashville, Rhana and Jimmy Hale of Gallatin, McKenzie Russell of the Cato  Community; Several loving nieces and nephews; Daughter-in-law, Barbara Russell Ray and  husband Jerry of Willette; Sisters-in-law, Anise Evetts of Lafayette, Sarah Evetts of Ethridge, TN, Peggy Evetts Binachi of Florida, Nancy Evetts of Nashville, Myra Evetts of Lebanon; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
